SLS question
Hey all, im in the process of installing the terrafirma +2 HD suspension conversion kit. Installed rears yesterday afternoon. Went for a drive to the gas station (3min drive) and no warning light or bells going off. I have read here that i would need to pull the relay/fuses to avoid bells and what not or take to the dealer or indy shop to have the puter flashed. Called dealer for a laugh and price. 365 bucks and 2 days... jus wondering if anyone knows why im not getting any dash lights etc. Only thing i did differently than the old dweb write up was i didnt reconnect the air lines on the compressor. Was and still do intend to connect em just figured i could handle a light and a ding for a 3 min drive.
i only got the (raised rear) light with mine. the issue is battery drain. that is why people pull fuses and relays. the chime is a symptom of the truck thinking you are going too fast with your booty in the air (i think its like 20 or 25mph). i originally just removed height sensors and disconnected power to compressor and had no battery drain. some are not so lucky.
nanocom, hawkeye, testbook, prolly more can tell your truck that you are sans sls and all is good.
where you at? maybe someone can use their capable system on it.
i'm in Dallas and have nanocom.
the light in this pic (bottom left) is what i got

Yea went out to grab some food...still no light or bells. Guess i'll unplug the power to the compressor and wait and see. I live in TN so you are a good bit away from me.

I just zipped tied my sensor so the car thinks it level or maybe a little high. It was my temporary solution until I get programmed to ignore it. But going on 4 or 5 months and working just fine. The height sensor light comes on every so often when I go over a large bump like the speed bump at my work. I do hear it try to let air out every so often but never hear it trying to air the car up and it only does it for a few seconds at start up and that's about it. I didnt raise mine but put in some coils since I had gone through 4 sets of air bags in a 2 years (2 being the ones that were on it when i bought it). The last time one failed it blew up and had to have it towed home
