Default SLS Valve Block and Height Sensor Question

Hi All,

When trying to convert back to air springs, my independent Land Rover mechanic told me that I needed a new height sensor and possibly a new valve block. Do the height sensors have to be calibrated or can they simply be replaced? Also, the valve block for the air suspension is located within the compressor correct? It is not the same valve block that ACE requires is it? I saw the air suspension valve block on roverlandparts.com and those were quite reasonable, but the ACE valve blocks are much more expensive and I just wanted to make sure that they were not the same thing. Thanks for any help.

Default air suspension

I got into this same thing with my disco, where I live we dont have a rover dealer anymore.
I replaced.....the air pump, the valve block, the height sensors, and the slab unit.
It never worked, so..............I just went to coils so I wont have to worry about it anymore.
I was told the height sensors have to be calibrated to the slab unit.
My rover sat on the bumps for 2 months until I finally gave up and went to coils, but, I am sooo glad I did.
Try to contact Disco Mike on the forum he really can help you!!!!
