Default Leaking t-case

I'm about to take my 04 Disco in for the 3rd time for a transfer case leak. What could they be missing??

1st time - said they fixed leak and when I left there was something very wrong. High whinning noise as soon as I accelartate. Said it was a loose bolt.
2nd time - fixed the whining, but next day I had a puddle under the car. I was told one of the seals tore when the TC was going back in.
3rd time? It is going back next week.......

What could be missing? I have had both my Disco's serviced at this place and always had a good luck.

It is hard to say what they could be missing.
Are they using the correct fluid?

This place only works on rovers so I would think they have the fluid part down.

Was it just leaking from the lid or a seal? A torn seal would of been pretty obvious to whoever put a new one in, I would think at least

They charging you everytime for this?

I bet some White Shepherd would have fixed you right up before even taking it to the shop.

So, it's time you crawl under the truck, with a flash light and see exactly where it is leaking from, if need be, take a picture of it and post it so we can help you. By the way, I don't buy the whining noise being caused by a loose bolt, that can't happen, but a t/case will whine when they forgot to put fluid back in it.

Thanks for the help. I've gotten really frustrated with this place. After the 3rd time, it leaked a little more, but then stopped after about a day and a half. I feel like at high speeds there is a vibration that I feel under my seat and the passanger seat. I feel like they messed something up taking the case in and out and from your response above, forgetting to add fluid back in the first time. I think I'll take it to a transmission shop now to get a 2nd opinion unless anyone has other suggestions??
