I thought the truck looked familiar. The way the light hit it didn't look green so I wasn't sure.

I am not sure where you are located or if you are still looking for a 4.3l vortec but it just so happens that i am trying to get rid of one. It is in a 96 s-10. Runs great. Let me know if you are interested. Also have the transmission and xfer case. I need them gone so make me an offer if you would like them.

A Tahoe gets what, 16 MPG expressway?
Used to have a 1999 GMC Suburban 6042# dry weight (44 gal tank) avg 18-19 in town driving and 21-23 highway. It was a stock 5.7 (350).

The 4.3L V6 would be a waste of effort to swap in to a Rover. You're only gaining about 10hp and it comes at a much higher RPM than the stock V8. Is the cost of time and money really worth 10hp.

At least take the time to do some research before asking us the same question that has been asked 100 times.

End of my rant. You may continue whatever it is you were doing.
