Go to one of the shops on Chicago Drive in Jenison, like Liberty Muffler, there are many others up and down the road between here and you.
One shop that I highly recommend is Austin Jordon Engines on Clyde Park and 44th st, they re just north of 44th on the west side of the road.
DO NOT use Accurate Engines in Grandville, they will be cheap but they will also reuse everything that they can.
DUMP THE DEXCOOL!!! I used to sell bulk coolant, Austin Jordon Engines was one of my customers, DexCool is pure junk and it is what caused your head gaskets to go bad.
It is known to eat gaskets if it is not properly maintained or is in the wrong concentration.
The only downside to running straight water in your cooling system is that coolant lubricates your water pump bearings and water has no lubrication properties.
They tell you to do the pure water and stuff to completely flush your cooling system.

Listening to my new Kid Rock CD.
Makes me work faster when I have the stereo cranking with some good tunes.

$1400 to $1600 plus head work, if you have a shop do it. A $60 bottle of Blue Devil or $ 350 plus head work if you do it your self.
Let us know what you do.

Dropped it off at Austin Jordan. I liked the shop.
First of all all the employees I met had dirty hands.
Second, heads and parts all over the counters and floors (they do this all the time).
Third--the guy behind the counter goes that's a Discovery series II right?
Those are easy jobs. See you in a few days.
I hope it goes that easy, but my initial impressions were good. Spike would you get your hair cut at the barber with an empty waiting room and the clean floor, or the one with hair all over and customers in the waiting room?
And, the hair comment wasn't meant as a personal attack! LOL

LOL!!!
I get my hair cut by the woman with the biggest...well, you know.

I like that shop too, nice and dirty and they do know what they are doing.
Ask about any warranty and follow it.
For example, when they rebuild a engine you must get the oil changed within 500 miles and have proof or their warranty is null and void.

They do all of their own head work too, everything is done in house.

Having all the machines in house etc. is why their prices are cheaper. Good stuff. I do my own hair--but bring the disco in for the heads. Maybe my priorities are off.
