Default snorkle set up question

almost pulled the trigger on a mantec snorkel kit, but i was curious how the pipes run when all the ABS lines and various others all run and are tucked against the inner fender well.

anyone know how this thing is routed through that maze?

The Mantec snorkel runs inside the fender.
To install it you have to cut the corner of your fender and remove it to run the piping, then once the pipe is ran to the air box you put the fender back on and finish it with the finisher piece.
The Mantec is a much cleaner looking snorkel than the Safari Guard in my opinion.

thanks Phillip!

i was about to hit the order button and then a mental image in my head popped up of the engine compartment and i was thinking,,, how in the hell does that mess get a air tube through it. makes sense now. i decided to buy my OME steering shock and a few other misc things until i am fully ready to take off the fender. i agree its a much better look then the safari or arb snorkel. i dont like the plastic box clinging to my vehicle look.

Exactly, that plastic box stuck to my fender like a brain slug is not a good look.
To to mention if you use that one you have to drill and cut several holes in your fender.

The Mantec is my favorite snorkel 4x, has anyone found a better price than $399? I would really like one, but it is a pricey upgrade.
I can't afford the snorkel at the moment, but I do have a cool prizim pre clean canister to mount on the Mantec when the time comes. Its kinda like the Dyson vacuum wind tunnel for you snorkel. Made by Safari, but should fit any snorkle with a 3" pipe.
