did it the old fashioned way,,, sucked as much out of the master cylinder as i could and poured in new fluid. then just had my dad pump the brakes as i turned the wrench on the bleed valve.
the feel of the brakes are way better. the feel of the rear brakes giving up at a stop is gone and all the systems seem to be working.
i gotta think it had something to do with the brake pad swap and maybe not bleeding well then and causing issues now,,,
i dont know what code i was getting. one local indy shop wanted the truck for half a day to pull codes and i called BS and the dealer would do it for me in 30min and wanted shop labor which is fine, but until those buggers flash on again i am not spending money.

Yeah, when done in a way that doesn't let air back into the system it should perform like any other car. but recently i have found it tricky to open the bleed valve just right without letting air in through the threads. its hard though and i resorted to using teflon tape on the threads on a DI and it worked. try that

^ should be, have you replaced the lines yet? Once those rubber hoses get some years on them they flex even more than usual. If you only have a little softness I think some SS lines would fix the glitch.
To the OP, please let me know when you figure this one out! Are your lights back on yet?
