Default So I left the sunroof open.... I f*cked up

So yea we had a storm last night and I left the sun roof open. Fortunately i parked under a tree so I didn't get the full brunt of the rain. However my drivers side seat seems to be most affected. I can feel it and it feels cool so I can tell that there is water in there.

Should I take the cushion out or can I let it air dry?
As I understand it Land Rover leather is a bit tougher than the usual right? It "breathes"?

Luckily my head liner seems to be ok. A few wet spots but those are starting to dry out. All electronics work.

Right now I've got all the doors and windows open.

Any suggestions?

Never thought I would make a careless mistake like that.

umm....thas a tough one..... two real options here
#1 . I would say, realistically, take the seat out, disassemble it as much as possible and try to let everything dry out like that. Leaving it in the vehicle is not gonna get it completely dry.
#2 . Full up the tank, park it in the garage, roll up the windows but leave the sunroof in the tilt position and turn the heat on full blast. aim all the vents for the seats. Hopefully, with some luck, the heat should dry most of it out without destroying anything. the sunroof cracked open with provide the moisture a way out.
Good luck with whatevr option you take. hope it works out for you.

If the electronics are still working your fine. Just let it dry out over time.

I have owned many jeeps, water was always in the mix.

Just let it air and dry out.
What not to do: a buddy of mine also left his sunroof open and had his truck soaked with rain. He's the impatient type, so he grabbed a shop heater - one of those gas fired ones - and put it in the back and left it running. Well and hour later his truck was a pile of smoking junk.

You could also try to rent one of those big industrial dryers/air circulators they use in basements and such after flooding...???
