Default So that's why they tie knots in the seat belt...

I swapped out a rear seat belt on my Discovery 2 this evening. Things went a little awry, but I got it done.

My write-up if you're interested.

I learned the hard way why my new belt arrived with a knot tied in it..

If you put the retractor in the install position, it would/shoup allow movement of the belt. Or if you get the angle of install just right.
