Socket size for brake rotor screw?
I don't feel like drilling out the rest of my brake screws so I would like to get the proper bit to take it out. I know that it looks like a phillip's head but there is another name for a shallow phillips head bit. I had it bookmarked on another forum but of course it is down and I was going to head out to the store. Anyone know the correct bit and size to get these out?
I'm not worried about putting them back in, I just want to get them off without having to drill them. I finally got my rotors and pads and OME shocks and springs sitting in my garage and I want to get it all in this weekend.
The best tool for those is a manual impact driver (see first image in link). I have used mine numerous times and they are great for this particular application. A very good tool to own. You won't destroy the screw or worry about having to drill it out. Sears should have them.
