Default Sold my D2

I sold my D2, everyday that goes by after not having it I still miss it I had to sell it to pay off some debt. I didn't realize how useful the vehicle was till I didn't have it so I plan on getting another one the end of next summer. My 99 D2 was a great introduction to the Land Rover family and plan on sticking with a D2 but will be getting an 04. My "dream" 04 D2 will be white or blue, no ACE or factory air ride, have the HK premium sound system and hopefully no rear A/C.

The 95 BMW M3 I bought to replace the D2 is fun, especially getting on/off the freeway and on twisty roads but as soon as I get in traffic or need to haul something I defiantly miss the disco. I wish the US go the diesel version or had a V8 that got 20ish MPG then I probably could of kept it. But 16 MPG and a 60 mile a day commute plus a payment just wasn't in the budget But I learned with my 99 what I want and don't want when I can finally afford the 04. If anyone wants a set of 5 18" OEM wheels with decent tires let me know, $575 OBO for the set. I have an OE brush bar I didn't install either but I'm holding on to that for now just in case I get a 99-01 D2.

Be careful what you wish for Alex J. The 2004 Discos had 4.6 liter engines that are not as good as the 4.0 liter engines found in the 99-02 Discos II's. A lot of people have been experiencing cracked cylinders.

There have been no less than 6 people on this forum with blown 4.6's in '04's alone.
Now add to that the dozen or so '03's and I wold never buy one with the 4.6 unless it was the GEMS 4.6 out of a early P-38.
