Default Sold the Rover.

I wanted to say thanks to all of you for your advice and help over the years here. I have enjoyed the forum immensely and still believe it is one of the best online communities I have ever seen.
I am now driving an 04 Volvo V70.

Best of luck!

P.S. - Whoever got your Rover is lucky, that was a great looking truck, and obviously well taken care of.

Say it ain't so!!

You'll enjoy the V70, and you just can't beat the incredible safety for your little one. I recommend hitting up IPD for some sweet performance parts. I've been really satisfied with their sway bars on our XC70. Best of luck!

Not trying to pry, but just curious if you have plans to get back into a Rover in the future?...took me 2 years after selling my DI to get the itch for another one

That's not prying.
Not really. I tried it, I gave it an honest go. In the end the driving experience wasn't for me. I didn't enjoy watching the gas gauge move on the road, maybe if it was a third vehicle I could justify it, but as a daily driver it wasn't for me. I LOVED that I could drive to some of my favorite fishing spots, as in take it right to the riverside, but it was a full tank out and back to go to those spots, so it killed the joy.
I will miss the winter driving in it, I could take it ice fishing in some totally unmaintained roads and lots without worry.
The trails around here aren't as plentiful as I would like to really be able to take advantage of what this vehicle has to offer.

Well, you certainly breathed (grammer?) some life back into that beast, and left it better than when you got it and someone is very lucky to own it.

FWIW, Those V70's are sweet and I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. But as the saying goes: "absence makes the heart grow fonder"
