Somewhat of a bitter sweet feeling
Sold my 02 disco with just over 120k for $6k
Think I sold it fairy well
Just wanted to thank all here on the forum
You guys have been just the best when ever I had any issues or questions
The reason I sold it was obviously all the work the came with owning a rig like that
Always did all the work my self loved it but it did get a bit to much
Leaving towards an Fj cruiser now actually pretty set on only Fj cruiser
Any input o those
And again thank you all very much

Assuming it was a straight example with all the usual suspects sorted, I think that's a fair price based on my recent purchase.
On the FJ, something of note I find interesting: you will be going from a wide open and panoramic view from the driver's seat perspective to that of very poor visibility. I'm not bashing the FJ (I even shopped them a while back), but that is a glaring difference that might get you. Undeniably, the FJ will require less effort to own, but I doubt it will be better off road.
Despite only recently succumbing to my desire for a Disco, I think if I get fed up with the amount of work I'd either look to replace it with an L322 or LR4 (or LR3 if budget was an issue). I'd probably look at a loaded '12 and up Grand Cherokee as well, but between my wife's RRS SC and the Disco, I'm starting to like this Rover bit more.
