Default Solved 2 problems, now more surfaced

D2 with 183k. Had lean bank 1 &2. Filled fuel tank, problem solved. Cleaned MAF, now shifts into 4th properly at 42mph. Before, I had to get it up to 50mph and let off the gas to get 4th.
Now, the miss at idle is back (just 2 days later), and it misses in 4th under light accel. Just before I made it home, it backfired 2x and the mil light came on, codes p302 2x and p300 1x. #2 plug shows lean. Magnacor wires. Plugs less than 30k. Champion platinums. Where should I go from here?

Original Coil Packs? Could still be the MAF causing the misfire as well.

Original coils. At 75k I replaced timing gear set and bench flushed injectors, I need to do that again. When it cools off I will give it its first compression check. Thinking I should remove valve covers and watch rockers as I remote crank the engine.

I think another tune up with coils replaced is good. Im not sure how you can remove the valve cover with your plan. Seems like the screws are tucked under the manifold. If youll go that far, just replace the coil packs.

I wondered about coils since it misses under a load. They are not too bad pricewise. I have read a lot of posts where people change a lot of parts and still can't resolve their problem. A compression check is free, and depending upon the results, I will see how much money I will have to budget. I filled the tank 70 miles ago, and the first 55 miles were great. Weird.

Can you measure your fuel pressure?

I'm going to see if O'reillys or Autozone have a fuel pressure tester for rent. Otherwise, buy one from Harbor Freight and return it if it breaks.
