Looks like old fashioned covered wagon wooden spoke wheels only chrome... Funny how the more we progress the more we revert.

Yeah, and there's not a lot of sidewall to help the ride and handling either.

LoL! So true.

Back in 2017 I went to one in Nashville and there was a 98 D1 that was in decent shape. I knew it was the last time I’d probably see one like it there so I grabbed all I could in the time I had. Every wheel had all the lugnuts and they were in great shape. Even the original spare under a cover was pristine. I did not want to pay for the lugnuts at all but put them in a bucket anyway and went to check out. I laid the spare on the counter with 4 other parts. She said , “what’s in the bucket?” I said lugnuts. She said how many? I said I don’t know but there’s a lot. She said, “eh, I’ll let you have them no cost. I don’t feel like countin!”

I was one happy customer with a bucket of lugnuts.

The freelander always reminded me of the Porsche 944. Poor men’s Porsche poor men’s landrover. Not saying they are bad

Not a pic but a funny discription I saw today in my local classifies.

These vehicles are great highway as well as city driving. It comes with winter and all season tires. LR 3 and the most famous trucks ever made by Land Rover and are the preferred trucks for the Royals. You can put over a million Kilometres on the engine without any problems so the 200 k is nothing.
