Been working on this thing all day. Have not gotten anywhere. We can crank the engine over by shorting the starter but no spark, no lights, nothing.

The ignition switch? No. We have power at the starter. Power to the ignition control module. No spark. No power from the coil. As far as I can tell no power to the coil either. We are going to replace the voltage regulator tommorrow and see what happens.

Ahhhh you could be on to something with that, but it still strange to me but electrical s&%* can be really frustrating

Been tracking this Spike and you're probably on to something with either the voltage regulator or alternator path (process of elimination). Malfunction in that area shuts you down every time.

Once NAPA opens we are going to buy a voltage regulator and see what happens. If that doesnt do it then I am done for now. I am burnt out on this thing.
