And the 2000 does not have the Second injection, but the 2004 does indeed have it.
Thanks to who?
I have used Denso Iridium's last time and am going to switch back to them soon.
Awesome plug with a 60k warranty.
Read the reviews on them.

The 4418's are what I used, with great results, especially in increased low end torque.
Np matter what you are wanting to buy you can find good and bad reviews. Hey Bosch give a free replacement if you are not happy, what do you have to loose.
After trying the Fusions, I a believe they are less benefical because we are not driving high performance engines and that type of technoligy doesn't improve over what the Plus 4's do.

Phil, I corrected myself

Thanks Mike- I wondered what the Fusions were all about. I've got this quirk where I can only judge a product's quality based on price (obviously not always true), so had it not been for your recommendation, I probably would have assumed they were even better.

I shall get the eleven quad's tomorrow, and five more for the other Disco when they come in!!

W00T!

You guys are so great. Man, I love Discos.

What's wrong with the factory champion platinums? Or is that only for 1st gen?

Spark plugs are all a personal preference type thing. I went with the +4s because of Disco Mike's recommendation and have been impressed with them. I don't see why the Champion Platinums wouldn't work just fine.

Hey guys,

How important is it to torque the new plugs to the right weight?

Is it worth going out and buying a torque wrench, or will just using a socket wrench be fine?

Pat

I just used a normal socket for mine. I don't think it's worth the cost of buying a torque wrench just for your spark plugs.

GOSH... this is so frustrating.

http://www.boschsparkplugs.net/411.asp

Apparently my 2004 can't use Bosh plugs. Most of these "lookup" sites don't even recognize that there were Discovery's in 2004....

Can anyone who owns a 2003 or 2004 please tell me which plugs you use? :/

This is even a british website, and they don't acknowledge the 4.6L's existence at all...

Have you been to BOSCH's web site and looked?
You may need to cross referance the part numbers from several places.
