Default Spark Plug Wires

Has anyone tried these wires on a 2002 Disco SE?

BWD CH 7880SP for $46.99 from O'Reillys.

I was going to get the 8mm Magnecors but wasnt sure about the ones that O'Reillys recommended. I have the Bosch Platinum +4 plugs

Thanks

Which source do you shop for the Magnecors? So far Apex has them for $85 and LRRF sells them for over $100. Is there cheaper?

Disco Mike recommended the magnecors from LRRF (is that this site or somewhere else?)

The ones O'Reillys recommended are not magnecors. This is my first attempt at the wires and plugs so I want to just put whats best in there.

Answer this for me, you come on this, maybe other sites and see where Magnacor 8mm wires are the wires of choice and you have to ask if some cheap wire set will work, I doubt it.

As for where to but them, do a Google for them.

NO, I didn't, they only sell the 7 mm version and they get just under $140 for them.

The learning part comes when you get to install them.
On your 02, you'll have secondary air injection which makes it even more fun, shout if you need some help.

Just a quick question from a newbie. What is the difference that the magnacore wires makes?...I will definitely buy them at your recommendation, just wondering what it will give me. I have my old wires on there now and when I change them I am hoping for a little smoother running engine

The Mag's will last longer than any other wire, thats your benifit.
Cheap wires will fail in no time flat, some have reported AutoLite wires from Advanced Auto Parts going bad in less than a month.
Now look at your engine, do you really want to be doing that job again before you need to?

Ummm that would be a 100 percent no. The less I have to do that the better. Sounds like mine are probably already bad. So many things to do on a new car...like eating a whale, one bite ate a time. So I am ordering the Magnacores today...any favorites as far as the best plugs?
