Default Spark Plugs

I ordered spark plug and I don't think they are the right ones. They sent me Bosch Silver WR7DS. Are they the right ones for a 96 Disco 4.0?

I would have done the Bosch Platiumn Plus 4's along with a set of 8mm Magnacor wires.

Funny speaking of the Bosch Platiumn Plus 4's and 8mm Magnacor wires, I took my 99 Disco to the only Rover mechanic here in town (great reputation) and I told him I had some Plus 4's and Magnecore wires to install and he told me not to waste my time on the Plus 4's and to take the Magnecore wires and get my money back, that the Disco should only get the OE wires...F-him, I'm still putting them on.

He is just an old Rover die hard that hasn't gotten past using Rover parts to improve your performance.

Are the Bosch 4's and Magnecor what you folks like to use in Rovers?
I know in many other forums the 4's have been bashed to death.
I do know alot of folks like to use fine wire plugs that are currently available from NGK and Denso.
I've had a bad experience with Magnecor wires.
Had them installed in a Porsche I had and the wires lit up like a Christmas tree from arcing. Looked pretty but I don't think it did too much for the performance of the car!
Rather than dismiss your mechanic you might want to ask him why he's giving you the advice he did. He might have some valid reasons.

I dont run the +4's. All hipe in my opinion.
But agree with the Magnecors, or OEM wires.
