Gotcha. How do u put it in 4Lo ? I don’t see that anywhere on my column
I just got it 2 days ago and is my 1st Land Rover so just not familiar with it yet

Shift the transmission into Neutral. Then give a positive shift on the other lever into low.

And talk all about reviving an ancient thread....

Awesome! Never would have came to that conclusion probably but works like a charm!

When is it best to run in Manual? Or when is it NOT OKAY to run Manual?

Only time you can run manual is in 4 low. The only time you should be in 4 low is in extreme off road situations.

For me, manual is any time when I want the vehicle to be very predictable in both acceleration and deceleration. If I’m just going over rough ground and want to go slower, I don’t use it.

I could probably count on one hand the number of times I’ve used sport mode. Talk about lipstick on a pig...
