Default Squeal at half-throttle

Hey guys, so recently I started noticing a fairly loud squealing sound when deaccelerating from 1-2 RPMS. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it's very noticeable. It happens randomly, some days I won't hear anything, and others I will, and sometimes it will happen every time I deaccelerate from said conditions. I've also noticed the infamous 'waterfall' sound acurring on an almost daily basis. However, I haven't noticed any overheating or other problems since I've heard these noises. I've looked in the engine compartment and I've seen nothing unusual. Coolant is at the normal level. I'm thinking it's a vacuum valve related problem. With no vacuum, unfiltered air can be entered into the system, and I'm thinking it could possibly be creating air bubbles in the cooling system, thus causing the 'waterfall' sound. One other option is the waterpump. However, I don't see how a bad waterpump would only sometimes cause a squeal at half-throttle from 1-2+ RPMS. But, that's why I'm asking you guys. What do you think it could be? If it is vacuum valve related, how much should the parts be and where can I find them? Thanks.

I assume the squeal is from drive belt area, correct?
I like to use spray lube and hit each pulley individually, until located.
Address accordingly
Deceleration noise can also be indicative of bearing noise. Common when one is going out.

The cooling system is a sealed system. Waterfall means leak. Cap, hoses, gaskets, core, tanks, etc....somewhere.
I use uv dye additive. I usually find them with that, but A pressure test works best in locating the leaks

Also your water pump has a weep hole...not 100%, but when inner seal is leaking, it is suppose to drip. It's like a little warning system

Thanks. I've also noticed a pretty noticeable amount of liquid on the driveshaft, which I assume is coming from a small oil leak that I've had since I bought the vehicle. It's literally only a drop every now and then, but I think it's odd how so much has accumulated on the driveshaft U-joint.

ac condensate drips right there, too.
loose valve cover is an oil leak usual suspect. gotta trace it back, though

Alright, so I've noticed that my coolant level has been gradually dropping over the past few weeks. I just had to fill the coolant back up yesterday, so there is definitely coolant being sucked from somewhere. I've driven the past few days without hearing the waterfall sound or squeal, and everything seemed to operate as usual. I haven't done a pressure test yet. But I don't notice any visible leaks besides the few drops of oil every now and then. Also, the squeal noise sounds like it is coming from the front of the engine, but it's hard to tell when I'm driving. Now that you mentioned bad bearings, I think that's closest to the problem I'm having with the squealing sound.

First you need to pressure test your cooling system and find the leak, it could be the cause of your squeal. coolant from the water pump or front cover could be spraying on a belt or pulley causing the squeal.
if not then you have two different issues to address

Yes. I could have two different problems. I will do a pressure test in the next few days.

Something else I noticed this morning, is that my disco didn't shift properly. It got past 1 RPMS, and it just kept going, and going, until I let off the gas. It only did it once, and has never done it before except for one time awhile back, and both times were after I started hearing the 'squeal' noise. I thought that was pretty crazy.
