Default SRS light stays on

well, and I have intermittent 3 amigos, and oh the intermittent SEL on my 2001 with 89,000. When you start the car it clears the SRS for a second or two then comes back. Checked all the fuses and they are okay. I did a search for SRS light and nothing came up. Am I the only one..is this a new one. Just about finished with Mikes 60,00 but have not gotten to the tranny yet. Service engine light is the mass air flow sensor, had the two codes for running rich and the fourth gear code. Runs great though. I did find the air cleaner top hooks that hold it tight to the maf broken off and I'm going to replace that first before the MAF. Never know. Sorry back to the SRS. Any ideas where to start looking. Those are expensive little buggers.

I have two disco's and pretty new to this, but working through the service on both. A 2002 with 119,00 and no lights, a SD. And my wifes 2001 SE with 89,000...and well you know. Thanks in advance.

You either have an airbag code like a bad clockspring, a low voltage condition or you need to clean out your drivers side seatbelt latch. Just spray it out with contact cleaner and then hit it with silicone spray.

Thanks lipadj46. That worked like a charm. Cleaned all buckles, checked all seat connects. And it's off. Now back at it. Again Thanks.
