Default Stalling

Took my stock Disco I out for a little jaunt today and had a bit of an incident..

I plowed through a puddle, not too deep but when I came out the car was stalling (not idling). It would drive alright, unless i really hit the gas then it would also start to stall!

Unsure of what it was, i decided to powerwash the engine bay and undercarriage so i could better see what could be wrong. Since then, it seems to be okay.

Any ideas?

If you are talking about a D1, you may have gotten your ECU wet, and that is the end result. If it did get wet, try and dry it out and it will most likely be fine.

I have heard of everything from moving them to wrapping them in water prooff material to using a tupper ware container for protection.

happened again, nominal operation during a trip, then stoped, restarted about an hour later, and car wanted to die on me.

still think it's ECU? also, when you say "let it dry out" do you mean physically remove it from the car?

I am having the same problem and mine has been going on for a couple months. It is only when i get up to high speeds or trying to go up a long hill. It seems like it wants to die it just loses power.
