Stalling in water

Default Stalling in water

G'day all. Went bush yesterday, whilst reversing out of big puddle the old girl stalled. There was water in air box but air intake was dry, after a few minutes it started ok, but when picked revs up it would stall again. ideas on what to look at I would be very greatful.

Water getting to crank position sensor maybe? d2's arent as water friendly as you would think without some preventative dielectric in some connectors/harnesses.

Aussie...oh lol didn't notice... then it obviously stalled cause your upsidedown.

i had this problem on the v8 one it turned out to be the MAF in my case. I've heard a wet XYZ switch can cause problems.
