Default Starter acting like a weak battery

Hello, has anyone had this problem. On cold starts in the morning my Disco 2 acts like it has a weak battery. I got a new battery, thought everything was fine, but next morning it does the same thing. Could the starter be going bad. It only happens first thing in the morning. Need help figuring this problem out
Thanks
Greg

I would check the battery voltage at the end of the day or shortly after the last time it is shut down. Do the same check the next morning befor starting that way you will know if something is draining your battery overnight. D*

Default starter acting up

I check all that and had battery load tested. I am thinking its something going on with the starter. It cranks up fine for the rest of the day. just when its sitting over night.

Acts like what? What are symptoms? Starter seem slow? I've seen that when zero degrees or when battery vdc low. Temps there and weight of oil?

Sounds more like a poor terminal connection than bad starter as they tend to start having warm/hot start issues before failing.

Nice to have replacement ready to install when checking connections at starter.

I was thinking the same thing. Or your alternator isn't able to charge up the battery while running.
