Default starter problem

i have been having problems with my 97 disco burning out starters. it has gone through 3 in 3 months, and it is not even a daily driver. my local shop does not have any idea what is going, and i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? any ideas, or info would be great. thanks

Are these rebuilys, all from the same shop? If so I would look for a new or good guaranteed used starter.
