Default Starter replacement Fail!

So i've had issue's with my starter, ordered an after market and it keeps triping the power and won't start! Curve report is as follows: resistance 10.221, maxpower 2.321kw, current 449A, torque 11.1 Nm, motor R:3.901 m ohm, voltage 8.50 V, speed 1971 RPM.
This is all French to me but i'm assuming it's drawing too much power for the factory relay? Can i make it work some how? Should i send it back?
Seems like a pretty simple plug and play install so i don't think i messed anything up!?
Ok guys let me have it! Lol
2001 D2 V8
New starter is a "world power systems" brand

My clamp on amp meter says my starter draw (on a D1, similar) is 287 amps. In the RAVE it says 300 amps. 450 amps sounds like a diesel starter, they can hit 600 amps.

The starter itself doesn't feed through a relay, that's a straight connection to the battery. The 449A would be the max draw, like on freezing gold mornings, so you can ignore that figure for your issue.
Only the starter solenoid is fed by the relay. Sounds like a faulty solenoid, or did you hook it up incorrectly and jumper the starter feed to the relay feed on the solenoid?
What starter is it?

There are two connections, the one with the nut goes to the battery, the one with the spade connector (circled) goes eventually to the relay.
There should be no other wires unless you have an earth cable connected to one of the mounting bolts.

The third plug was off the wiring harness from main power, doesn't go to starter itself.
