Default starting problem in mornings

I am experiencing sporadic starting fault with my disco 2
the fault is generally only in the morning when the car has stood overnight, it starts by jump start downhill, or if I leave it in sunlight for an hour or so sometimes it will start.
all lights on the dash come on and go out before I attempt starting, the weird thing is, after it starts it goes all day stopping and starting without fail.
any ideas please?

Sounds like your battery may not be able to hold a charge overnight. Check or have it checked out.

hi, thanks for your reply, the battery is absolutely ok, almost brand new, there is absolutely nothing happens when I turn the key but later on it sometimes starts? could it be the immobiliser and is it a big job to have it bypassed?
