TJM is the best looking Front Bumper for a D1/D2 IMHO. Those 600 bumpers are fine. Whatever you do NOT get any of those modular bumpers off of Ebay. 100% looks and absolutely zero solid strength unless you weld ot all together as 1 unit.

The rear bumper is one pc, the front is 4 total pieces. Even welded together these are too thin to provide anything near the structural protection an ARB would provide. Not saying you couldn't brace them and come up with a way to add extra brackets to brace to the frame. These would be best for mall crawlers, which is exactly what my significant other uses her's for. The most off road experience she's ever had was blasting through a fallen pine tree at 45 mph on a morning commute.

Yep not rated for HD use at all. I had a similar setup on a Jeep once and boy was it a joke. Slapped on an ARB and never looked back. I drive in the TX Hill Country and an ARB can handle a deer like it's nothing. Might loose an aux light from the impact but the LR will be untouched!

I have the best ARB w winch. It's a great look IMO. I really want a steel bumper for the rear..... but there is nothing on the market that can replace the look and feel of the OEM bumper IMO. Or any bumper with a good stylish look to match these trucks similar to the plastic factory OME . The steel bumpers I see are squared off .. small .. gutted .. They just don't look as good and get small with a big OF tire mounted. If ARB could make something with a rear winch that would be awesome. Until then I'm forced to use the plastic factory OEM until it breaks.

In my experience, it doesn’t take long to damage the rear plastic bumper. The departure angle is the D2’s weak point when off road.

Yep a D2 has what I consider to be a JLo sized big old booty ( ! ) in the rear! I drove my Kalahari off road a lot and with a 3inch lift it was decent, but when compared to a D1 it's night & day in the rear clearance wise.

^ What tires are you running? I just came back from the Rubicon as a passenger and already considering getting bigger tires (currently at 33"s).
