steel front bumper with no frills
Most of aftermarket bumpers manufactured by larger companies put the strength of the bumpers in the bends so when the bend is compromised the entire structure of the bumper is also compromised, its a lighter and cheaper alternative to manufacture. And the stories of TJM bumpers I've seen would make me not want one.
I would say get one built locally out of rectangular tubing and just have them add sheet metal to make it a little more cosmetically pleasing. The actual structure of the bumper will take a hit without damaging your quarter panels headlights, etc. Super easy to build, and cheap. Just my .02 though.

Bumper finally arrived. Installation took me a few hours (solo). I am very pleased with the finished product. The guys at lucky8 were great and at $600 shipped, I didn't break the bank.
Do they have a winch version?
@MrWesson, I was referred to lucky8 by a forum member, after speakling with them it was recommended based on our conversations. I am unsure if its listed though, when I placed the order, it wasn't in stock yet.
