Since you aren't that far away from San Diego, I'd give Meridian a call. They offer quality rebuilds.

Have you tried Meridian in the past for rebuilds?

Never heard of them, which in ur opinion is better bang for the buck rebuild or new

Have you priced a new DII steering box? Contact Meridian and see what a rebuild will cost and give AB a call to the price on a new box. I'd imagine a new box will be close to three times as much as a rebuild. Bang for the buck? That will be up to you to decide.

I have not used Meridian but, in the over twenty years I've owned Rovers I have heard many positives about the quality of their work.
