I’m hoping that by going with genuine seal kits I’ll eliminate any guesswork with respect to getting exactly what I need. That may be a little naive, but that’s the plan. The genuine kits don’t seem to be much more expensive (if any) through LRDirect.

Did you end up resealing/rebuilding?

@Roont this is from nearly 2 yeara ago, generally it is easier to buy a rebuild as the output shaft is often worn. I found sourcing the seals etc was a nightmare, in November of last year, speaking to a couple of LR shops they have had mixed results on rebuilds.
