Steering Pump keeps loosing fluid

Steering Pump keeps loosing fluid
My girlfriend has a 1996 Land Rover Discovery. Lately the steering pump has been loosing fluid. Her dad has been putting fluid in for the past year but lately it won't last over a week so I know there isa hole somewhere in the pump or the lines. Ive never working on a Land Rover so I have a couple of questions.
Can anybody point me to a guide on how to remove the power steering pump?
Can anybody tell me how to remove those lines that are crimped on and how/what to replace then with?
Can anybody tell me if its even repairable?
Thanks,
Brian

RE: Steering Pump keeps loosing fluid
Take the truck to a coin operated carwash, degrease the engine and pin point where the leak is coming from.
Most likly it is coming from a power steering hose, one of the hose clamps has gone bad and all you need is a new hose clamp.
But until you clean the engine you will not know where the leak is coming from.
And make sure that you are using automatic transmission fluid in the power steering not power steering fluid. DI's use ATF in the power steering system.
Once yo0u find the bad clamp replace it with a standard worm style hose clamp.
If you find that it is a power steering line then replace that line.
