Question Steering wheel height issue

DISCO II Steering wheel height...
I'm 6'1" and cant seem to get my seat back far enough or the steering wheel to raise up and keeps rubbing my legs.
Anyone else have this issue and is there a solution I'm missing?

Right there with you. These certainly weren't built for tall people

Make absolutely sure the seat bottom is adjusted all the way down as it can be tilted up. Tilt wheel on any D1/D2 is kind of a joke. RRC’s didn’t have it at all until 95 & it maybe goes 1inch in either direction.

I’m 6’7” and don’t really have any issues. Am I just used to it? I do have the “tilt” of the wheel (yeah, it’s pretty lame) all the way up, and the seat more or less flat. I do wish I had a bit more leg room, but after driving on the track for a number of years, I guess I’m used to more of a tight fit.

Did the modification/extensions to the rails underneath seat...best mod ever for anyone 6 foot or beyond. Took about twenty minutes, once rail extensions were made. Leg room galore.

Search...Electric drivers Disco ll seat. I tried adding link...but that doesn't work here anymore too. I'm sorry, but this site is garbage anymore...and don't get me going about the stupid enless scroll feature...there no longer being page numbers to move around a topic...the loading of pictures is just downright painful...editing is virtually impossible with pictures involved.
Anyhow, rant over...and I hope you find the post concerning the extensions to the drivers seat. Brian.
