Default Steering wheel options

Mine is in horrible condition. I want to know what my options are before I go with the Redlinegoods leather replacement.

Will a steering wheel from an LR3 or '04 Range Rover fit and be compatible with airbag/electronic connections?

Thanks!

I've read an LR4 steering wheel can fit in a LR3 but I don't think they will fit in Disco 2.

Sometimes you can find good ones at a junkyard.

I have one that is in pretty decent shape...Alpaca and black. Just has a little bit of wear at the top. I can send pics if you're interested. No rips at all.

D1 steering wheel/airbag should work. You'd loose the stereo controls but it should work. I have a D2 wheel on a D1 & no issues.

Also zero SRS faults!!

I personally cut off the top/bottom leather which usually is the only part which gets nasty. Then I use paracord in black or the color requested and wrap it. Results look excellent and I love how it feels vs the leather.

Here’s before/after. Makes a huge difference.

Note: since this was taken, I did remove the fake wood trim and replaced the floor mat

Thank you all. I have decided to buy the redlinegoods one. I want it to look brand new since I'm also in the process of reinstalling the headliner (texture painted) and getting rid of the carpet for good!

Older thread - but what was your experience with the RedlinesGoods steering wheel cover? Need to do something about my steering wheel cover as well.
