can anyone send me or send me a link to the full wiring diagram for a 1996 disco I audio system? i want to put in an aftermarket deck, and i need to know which wires need to be looped to bypass the in-dash controls so that i can control the deck and also power the speakers fron the new deck.
also, is there an external amplifier somewhere in this truck from the factory? i cant find one in it for the life of me, and the old deck looks like it is internally amplified, but the speakers dont recieve any power from the harness in the dash. i am thinking that i just need to bypass the in-dash volume and function controls but i want to be sure before i even start tearing apart any wiring.
