Stock Front Ride Height
I'm installing new OME shocks soon and I'm wondering if my front springs have sagged. I have SLS on the back so I assume the rear is at the correct ride height. The measurement from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the black fender flare measures 19" on both the front and the rear. I'm considering installing some OME 776 springs on the front if the front has sagged, but the vehicle looks level now.
At your mileage, yes it is sagging. What do you use the truck for, do you do much wheeling or plan some heavy mods sometime soon? 776 are pretty weak springs, if you want a better ride then consider 777, medium duty coils. What shocks are you going to be using?
I don't do much off roading, mainly pulling a 2 place snowmobile trailer in the snow. I really wasn't planning on lifting it. I'm installing OME Nitrocharger shocks, 60024's in the front and 60026's on the rear and keep the SLS. I'm really looking for the best ride.
At your mileage your front end should be an inch to 1.5 inches lower then new.
The OME shock, which are really great and will improve your ride greatly won't help the front height though, if that is a concern.
