Check that the shifter is in park, and check the cables to make sure they are right. On my truck, it did the same thing and I crawled under the truck with a hammer and whacked the starter and that got it turning. When they wear out the bushings they can basically short internally and hitting it will allow it to spin.

I was thinking the starter but it doesn't even click. When my starter went bad on my 03, it at leased made a clicking sound.

Key fob can imobolize the car. Forget the way to undo it though...should be in the manual.

Can you twist your negative battery cable? Try twisting the cables on the battery post to make a good connection and try and start it.

Is the red light on the dash flashing? Try closing all the doors and hood and locking and unlocking the truck at the door twice.

Check the inertia switch under the hood on the passenger side of the firewall. Press the top of it to make sure it hasn't popped up. inertia switch.pdf

Check the ground cable on the alternator bracket.

For your starter. You can try and have someone hold the key forward like they are trying to start the car, and you go underneath and tap the starter with a wrench or something. (don't beat the hell out of it cause you are mad at your disco) Sometimes a bad starter will turn over with a little help.
