Default Stuck Windows...

Driver window won't go up or down unless I hold it level. Seems to be binding on the edge of of the door frame. Any ideas on how to fix it? Is this common?

Thanks in advance.

I assume I need a new 'regulator' and can not simply tighten up the bracket holding the glass?

Not really, in reality you probably have broken rollers on the regulator

Thanks. Do you know the best place to get a replacement? Does the brand matter?

You could buy it from the company I work for - REGULATOR LH FRT WINDOW '95 RANGE ROVER CLASSIC, DISCOVERY I, DISCOVERY II, PLH541, LR006374 - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

Or one the fine other Rover companies like Lucky8.

If you have access to a 3D printer you can print the wheels in two parts using ABS filament and glue them on the existing shaft with acetone. real easy and it costs about 2 cents in ABS. Lot more durable than the original rollers too because ABS won't dry out. I can PM you the file if you want.

Yeah! They are catching on really fast, I bought mine last fall for 800$ and I repair tons of stuff with it. As long as you can draw a 3D model of it, you can print it. Here's a little bracket I made after the ears of the inertia sensor broke off on a gravel road...

Here's the roller I printed to replace the broken ones on the passenger side window.
