Stupid Question of the Day - front drive shaft
I pulled my front shaft on my 2001 Disco II a few weeks ago and sent it out to be overhauled. Well, I got it back and it looks great. I started to bolt it in place and paused.
I can't remember whether the joint with the centering ball was at the front or rear. Can the shaft go in either way? I can't find one exploded view on the entire internet . . Murphey's law.

You need to download the Rave CD or the shop manual if you are going to be doing work on your truck. It has the directions and the values for your torque wrench.
See the link in my signature for a good Rave CD link. Download it to a folder and click on the welcome.pdf file to start. There is a section on the propellor shafts.
