Default Submerged in Beaver Pond. Help!

Have a son that parked on an incline next to pond. Parking pawl defective and brake didn't hold. Spent a couple of hours up to the windshield in muddy water. I pressure washed the mud out of the engine compartment and cab. Drained about 5 gallons of water from oil pan. Drained tranny. Working on getting the driver side plugs out (pain in the ...) Will drain the other fluids today.

What kind of electrical issue am I facing....or should I be looking for a buyer?

All of the computers are under the glove box or under the drivers seat.

Call your insurance company, that truck is now junk, if not now over the next few months all your electrical will fail.
While working in the shops, we used to see a lot of that happen and the insurance companies usually write them off.

Pump the water out of the cylinders, change the oil, leave the battery disconnected and the hood open as well as the doors with it parked in the sun for a few days while you change all the fluids and stuff.
Once dry, put it all back together and enjoy your truck.
There are trucks out there that were in deeper water for longer and are still on the road with no issues.
A friend of mine is one of these, another friend of mine had to let his sit overnight, all his needed was a new trans ECU, $50 from a junk yard, it still ran and drove just shifted weird, new trans ECU and it was back to normal.

If you want to get rid of the truck and you have full coverage now would be the time to call your insurance agent.

You will need a new dashboard. A new ECM and BCEM.
Uphill battle.

Maybe put it back into the pond and maybe the beavers will build around it.
You could become world famous as an exotic artist which has a new way to recycle cars.

Actually, you can fix it.
It will take a lot of time.

HEre are some hints

take the tranny ecu out from under the driver seat and clean it with electricral cleaner. take the xyz switch apart clean it with electrical cleaner seal it with silicone, reinstall both. like spike said get the water out of the cylinders. you should be good to go after everythign else dries out. if not then the ecu and bcu are toast and i would go no further. wd40 every damn hole.

Probably not much, you need a 2012 Range Rover Supercharger Autobiography edition for that.

I sunk my di no big deal needed ecu and window ecu. But don't worry about that. It's nothing in cOmparieon to if you don't flush that transmission. Don't run it or it WILL be toast.. Trust me.. I drained ran and filled the trams 6 times and still getting water. You have to professiOnally flush it, think radiator and torque c
