LOL..........you guys reallly make me laugh..........
So at todays exchange rate I could fill my truck for £31...........as opposed to the £85-90 I currently pay..........which equates to $136 to fill it........
Once again, your fuel is BLOODY CHEAP............Don't ever think otherwise!!!!

We may have less expensive fuel but you have diesel Rovers over there - we'll call it an even trade.
Here around Denver premium is $2.85 give or take a few pennies depending on where I fill up. Unfortunately the Shell station by the house is one of the most expensive places but the truck runs best on Shell.

ANYONE can afford to run a V8 on those prices.
The whole US scenario ref fuel is kinda crazy.
You want cheaper fuels, (as we all do), yet the country "in general" builds monster V8's in most cars and the have been guzzling away for YEARS on it............no wonder its running out.
We get screwed to the bone now over here on anything over 2 litres, even more so on diesels or petrols that emmit over 225g / km, yet over there you guys (not a personal attack btw) guzzle it like its going to last for another 100 years!! and its DAM cheap to do it!!!
Kind of annoying really.................if you see my point.

I completely understand what you're saying UP. We American are very spoiled. Some of the cars they are building (or were, who knows what will happen with the current auto industry) are just ridiculous. Take the Dodge Challenger for example. In the SRT-8 trim, it is nothing more than a gas guzzling throw back to a better time in automotive history. Does anyone really need a 2500 pound car with 425hp, no. But it sure is a fun ride. Even gas guzzler taxes that get higher every year aren't stopping Americans from buying fuel hogs.
