Default Sun roof

A weird one, every couple of days, and so far only when parked , the rear roof lifts up, (doesn’t slide open ) it shuts like usual, has anyone else had this happen ?

My sunroof motors will move a bit randomly when I start the truck. Actually, when the key moves to the ACC position. Almost always the rear, and normally only enough to raise the glass just a bit.

Ya I had this a few times. I barely use the sunroofs but sometimes I hit the button to make sure it’s closed and I hear them move closed. I thought I was hearing things

Could be a bad sunroof control module which is located under the headliner near the front sunroof motor. With water leaking in there constantly these can develop shorts and components begin to fail. Wire harness connectors also develop corrosion due to the dampness.
