I have a Disco I and my front sunroof is suddenly having problems. When it is first pushed it opens a little and stops, then moves a little and stops and then only opens halfway. When closing it does the same thing but the computer no longer knows when the roof is closed and will over push itself when its already closed. What do I need to do?

 

The mechanical part of it sounds like its worn out. The tracking seems messed up. That could bea very expensive repair. I think sunroof mechanisms are pushing$1000...

 

try greasing the tracks.
