Default Sunroof reset and fog lamps

Hi..any help will be greatly appreciated.

1.) I read somewhere about resetting sunroof motors. I have not opened my sunroof in over a year due to leaks and I will be working on it now but for some reason the motor will not work. How do i reset the motor. Front and Rear. Thanks.

2.) My fog lamps were working until last week. The switch inside does not turn on with the small red indicator light on the switch not going on. My bulbs are new...any tips on the switch..could it be a fuse?? If a fuse, nothing else is out except my fog lamps.

Thanks for the help.

I don't know about re-setting the motors...but you can remove the square access button near the switch and use a 4mm Allen wrench to open manually.

Your second problem sounds like a fuse...

Check the ground for the fog lights. Maybe, the ground's point of contact on the metal frame may have rusted out.

Thanks for all the tips. I know about fog lamps not working when brights are on and head lamps have to be one for fog lamps to work. So, that is out of the equation.

I will check the fuse and the ground. Where would I find the ground wire for the fog lamps.

Thanks for the advice on the hex tool to manually open the sunroofs.
