Supercharger

The high compression of the Discovery engine is not good for supercharging. You would need to use race gas to keep it from detonating. Or lower the compression ratio. A friend of mine used to have a 5.0 twin turbo mustang he had to run race gas in it, 92 octane was not enough with the stock pistons. It had very impressive power though.

Ok where do I get everything?
It must be harder to find the kit.
I know it costs around 5,000 for a good turbo kit for a sedan. How much would a supercharger cost here?
eh I'll guess I'll just buy the Supercharged Toyota mini-van, that does alot. jk

I think if you did this : http://toddcosuspensions.com/laroen.html your motor might be able to sport a supercharger. Trade yours in towards a 2006 Range Supercharged dude.

Discos just aren't made for what you want to do.
However, if you'd like to make your disco off road capable or more efficient on the road we're here to help!
