Ok, I changed my landrover disco 2 passenger lock actuator a few months back because the lock wasn't working, I fixed the problem at least I thought I did, the lock opens and closes, but when you superlock it and you try to open the door from the inside, the door will not open, you have to open it from the outside by rolling down the window or having someone walk around and open it for you??? Any ideas? The only thing I can think of is that when I put the actuator in I do remember that I didn't push the control arm all the way into the latch, I couldn't push it through the hole all the way....hmmm could that be my problem??? How do you manage to put (a) into (b). I've included a diagram. I tried vice grips...

 

Superlock is a bad idea.
If you superlock your truck and the battery goes dead you are locked out of your truck and there are only 2 ways in and both require you doing damage to your truck.

I have no idea what the problem is, but if all else is well I would not worry about it and just dont use superlock.
