Can't get any help over on TitanTalk so I thought I would ask experts here. Sorry Moderators, but I'm desperate.
Just rebuilt the entire front end suspension on my '04 Titan 4x4 with Moog Components and KYB Excel Struts.
Once I got it all together, i put the jack under the LCA and jacked up a bit. I would have thought I would see the spring compress a bit and some articulation. the whole truck lifted off the jack stands.
Is that normal? Shouldn't i have some articulation? That's the whole point of having suspension. The UCA is actually touching the Top strut mount and when I jack the LCA up, the coil doesn't even compress enough to move the UCA any.
I have a level kit, which was on the old struts and am using KYB SR4230 Excel-G Strut and Coil package
Check for binding and try the other side to see if it does the same.
I will add though that when jacking on the LCA on the LR3 with the OME HD Springs she will come off the jack stand with almost no movement in the suspension. Rides, drives great and articulates wonderfully.

Should have thought to post this on the LR3 forum as it has a more similar suspension.
Thanks again to all. Just gonna drop her off the stands and see what happens.
Well, got everything together and when I dropped her on the wheels, the suspension did not budge a bit. I have not torqued the UCAs and LCAs as you are supposed to do this under after the suspension is under load.
As you can see, the UCA is hitting the strut mount.
