If you want stock, go with Bilsteins.

Look into getting HD genuine springs. I just put genuine HD ones in the front of my truck because I have a factory winch. For the rear, you can check to see if they make an HD version or maybe get the 7-seater springs as I assume they must be stiffer for the extra weight of 2 passengers.

I've found in my years of experience that TF shocks are a nicer smoother ride than Bilsteins. As a matter of fact I thought it very odd that nearly the cheapest shock on the market has the best ride! I also tried the OME shocks and the TF win.

Stock height is nice. My wife complains about the climb-in due to the 2" lift. The only real ergonomic flaw for the D2 interior is the lack of A pillar grab handles.

I believe it for the out of the box 5100s. But the 7100s with the correct valving should be fantastic. I have 7100s on my classic and big fan, far better than the adjustable TF I have on my white d2

Right... I was talking about the regular 5100 series Bilsteins.

Have her use the handles on the side of the headrests.

Just ordered a complete set of used radius arms and a panhard rod to install all new bushings in. Now, which bushings to go with? My first inclination is to go with genuine LR replacements - they're expensive.

Keeping the stock height and looking for an OEM like ride.

Any recommendations?

I like the Moog rubber bushings I got from Rock Auto for sale, for my D1.

I also like the 7100 Bilstein shocks from AutohausAZ (assembled in Mexico) although one rear upper end detached (unscrewed) after not many miles. I paired the shocks with a stock height uprated Bearmach spring set shipped from England (made in China, I think).

Happy with my terrafirmas. Been a couple of years, still going great.

Just about to redo my shocks and springs. Staying with stock height. Does anyone know how much firmer the LR HD 7 seater springs are? And what spring should I use up front. My shocks are the Bilstein HD. Oh, and should I replace the front spring seats while I'm at it or re-use the OEM units? Thanks!
