Default Switching a D2 from a mechanical fan to electronic.

I am looking to increase my MPG/Performance. Has any one replaced their mechanical engine fan with an electric fan, if so, what brand did you use and what were the results.

Have you picked your fan yet? I was looking at these fans but I dont know. They have variable speed fans too. I have heard mixed results. Some say they work well others had problems overheating while off roading.

Mike, If you put an elec. on, let us know how it works on and off road. I've been hesitant to put one on because I tow a boat. But I know you'll give an honest, educated opinion.

I have been looking at doing this for a while. I have narrowed it down to a couple of different units. I will post up my thoughts when I get it in. It will bea few weeks.
